Psalm 122

I was glad when they said to me: let us go into the house of the Lord.
Now our feet stand within your gates, O Jerusalem, city of our God.

Here in unity all Israel’s tribes resort
To perform their bounden duty, to praise the living God for ever.

Peace be in your streets, justice in your palaces.
May all who love you prosper: let peace and justice reign for ever.
