Introduction [Psalm 139]

  1. Introduction [Psalm 139] -:-- / -:--

Lord you’ve searched me, well you know my joys and my fears;
When I sit and when I rise my thoughts to you are clear.
You discern my actions and ways; your hand is laid on me.
O how wonderful your knowledge! Your knowledge and your love for me!

Should I try to flee your presence, where could I go?
If I hide in highest heaven or in the depths below,
if I take the wings of the dawn or cross the furtherest sea,
Even there you hand will guide me and your right hand will hold me fast.
