Bloomin’ marvellous hymn with words by M.Bridges (1800-1894)  & G Thring ((1823-1903) and appropriately stunning tune to match the words by G.J. Elvey (1816-1893).

The sound track provided has just the introduction and the last verse with descant.

A recording with full works from a live service at Bristol Cathedral or Aberystwyth will eventually appear.

Try singing the descant while you’re cooking, or having a bath [don’t drop your ipad/tablet in the water!] or anywhere. May it raise your spirit to heaven. What a privilege to derange such a heavenly hymn.
