Jesus Christ you sacrificed all and did give
So that we who were to die through death might live.
Your cross has destroyed death’s power;
You bring healing, yet you bore pain.

Jesus Christ you bore our guilt, we were to blame.
Ours the glory of Gods sons: you suffered shame.
Our sin has brought death to earth
But your coming brought life to birth.

Jesus Christ the light of life, may we obey
Your commands in all our deeds, show us your way.
You daily took up your cross:
Shall we not take up ours and follow
