The Lord is my Shepherd and I shall lack nothing;
in pastures green I shall rest.
He leads me beside the still waters;
in peace is my soul refreshed, my spirit renewed and blessed.

Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for you, the good Shepherd are with me.
Your rod and your staff are my comfort.

The Lord has prepared a table before me, in presence of my foes.
My head with oil is anointed, and, Lord, my cup overflows;
with blessings it overflows.

Surely his goodness and mercy shall follow me;
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
His goodness shall follow me ever,
and I shall dwell with him for ever.
