O Lord, O Lord God, how majestic is your name!
All heaven and earth proclaim your glory, O Lord God!
Though they speak without a word, yet their voice is freely heard
throughout the world.
Day to day shall pour forth speech in your praise.
They proclaim your faithfulness to the end of days.
In the heavens you’ve pitched a tent – pavilion for the sun,
who like a champion runs his circuit till it’s done
at you behest O Lord!

Your Law, like the sun, sheds on everything its light;
nothing’s hidden from its sight or power, O Lord God!
How it makes the simple wise! It enlightens mind and eyes,
makes glad the heart.
Perfect is the Law, O Lord, you have given.
Riches it imparts to all, much more precious than gold;
sweeter than the honeycomb, delighting heart and mind;
and by it is your servant warned and those who keep it find
in it a great reward.
